FAQs

    1. Create a Truncated Icosahedron_5.6.6 mesh object using “CH_Archimedean Solids“ preset geometry node group and Apply modifier.

    2. Click “Convert Mesh to Mol Scaffold“ button in ChemBlender Tools panel.

    3. Switch to Edit Mode, select all the edges, click “Set Bonds“ button and set the Bond Order to 12.

    4. In the NodeTree, check the option “Show Aromatic“ in “CH_Ball and Stick“ node group.

    5. Bond Order 12 means aromatic bonds. If you want to show the strucutre in single and double bonds, please export the molecular scaffold as a .mol file (“Export Scaffold to Block File“), and then build new molecules “From Files”.

    6. “Optimize Geometry“ button will get a more reasonable geometry.
